This page has a collection of my favorite thoughts and sayings
that I gathered through the years. I agree with most but not
necessarily all of these. I definitely find all of them
instructive, in one way or another, and absolutely entertaining.
Some of these may sound silly, some may cause people to doubt
my sanity, others will cause others to
doubt my maturity, and other ones WILL offend!
* Life is too inconvenient.
* Weekends don't count unless you spend them doing something completely useless.
* Art is a private language for sophisticates to congratulate themselves on their superiority to the rest of the world.

The Tao of "The Daily Grind" (by Calvin and Hobbes!!!)
* The problem with new experiences is that they're so rarely the ones you choose.
* I don't need to compromise my principles because they don't have the slightest bearing on what happens to me anyway.
* What's the point of trying if you can't be a winner?
* If I'm not going to be eternally rewarded for my behavior, I'd sure like to know now.
* The secret to enjoying your job is to have a hobby that's even worse.
* I work better under pressure. That way the work time is more miserable, but there's less of it.
* To make a bad day worse, spend it wishing for the impossible.
* When life gives you a lemon, wing it right back and add some lemons of your own.
* Life's a lot more fun when you're not responsible for your actions.
* That's one of the remarkable things about life. It's never so bad that it can't get worse.
* The purpose of writing is to inflate weak ideas, obscure poor reasoning and inhibit clarity. With a little practice, writing can be an intimidating and impenetrable fog.
* Childhood is short and maturity is forever.
* I don't think I'd have been in such a hurry to reach adulthood if I'd known the whole thing was going to be ad-libbed.

* It's a lot more fun to blame things than to fix them.
* A good compromise leaves everybody mad.
* Grown-ups just act like they know what they're doing.
* The problem with people is that they're only human.
* Sometimes I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.
* Even though we're both talking English, we're not speaking the same language.
* Some people are like slugs - they probably serve some purpose, but it's hard to imagine what.
* There's no problem so awful that you can't add some guilt to it and make it even worse.
* Isn't is sad how some people's grip on their lives is so precarious that they'll embrace any preposterous delusion rather than face an occasional bleak truth?
* I find my life is a lot easier the lower I keep everyone's expectations.
* Nothing helps a bad mood like spreading it around.
* People pay more attention to you when they think you're up to something.
* People think it must be fun to be a super genius, but they don't realize how hard it is to put up with all the idiots in the world.
* I keep forgetting that rules are only for nice little people.
