CICS has been made to help the Cypriot players prepare and improve their game. Besides Cypriots, any other players who want to improve their game and have fun are welcomed.
CICS is a chess server in Cyprus, and it's purpose is to help ANYBODY who wants to improve, and at the same time, the opportunity is given for chess titles, while playing and having fun.
All players can play in tourneys, sometimes with prises. They can analyse their games with very strong players helping their weaknesses. Free participation in simuls as well. A place for chessplayers to come closer, as they can talk and get advises and lessons from GMs, IMs and FMs, and others who will be in the coaching team.
The server will be open to all players 24hrs a day.
If you want to join CICS, email to CICS@agrino.org , providing us with a handle of your choice, your email address, your real name, and your country, or the country you would like to play for in the team championships. Also, tell us if you want to join the coaching team, and if you want to get lessons.
Feel free to ask us any questions, or to find out more about the first events, and one of our Administrators will answer to you.
All coming events, simuls, free lectures from titled players, and bug-prize or team tournament's, will be on our webside.

This is a chess event that takes place for the first time on the internet!!!
Each Country will be represented with one team of ten players. The leader will have to make the team, find the best possible players, and may offer them help. Each player will have a board number and will have to play four 5 0 blitz games with the player of the opponent team who will have the same board number.
PRIZES - If up to 30 teams join the tournament
(If less than 30 teams join the tournament,
the prizes will be reduced accordingly)
$1500 to the FIRST Team
$500 for the leader and $1000 for the rest of the team
$800 to the SECOND Team
$300 for the leader and $500 for the rest of the team
$500 to the THIRD Team
The tournament will take place when the teams are ready, and the players will be informed at least one week in advance.
