The "Association's" activities
are divided into three categories:
- Humanitarian
- Cultural
- Political
Humanitarian activities: The
"Association" is always ready and available to render any kind of
material assistance, or advice to any of our people in need, either directly or
by acting as liaison with the appropriate Government Department.
Cultural activities: The
Association rans a continous programme of cultural events aiming in:
- Keeping our people together and
maintain the ties with their roots.
- Keeping the memory of the occupied
Areas alive in the hearts of ur people who lived there before war.
- Teaching the young ones, who are
being born after the occupation, all about their hometowns and villages.
- Maintain our people's spirit and
moral, high.
Political activities: The
priority in the Association's activities is:
To follow closely the political developments in the Cyprus Problem and to ensure
that all initiatives for a solution lead to the restoration of the Independence
and sovereignty and unity of Cyprus, the withdrawal of all Turkish troops and
Turkish settlers from Cyprus and restoration of the Human Rights of all
Cypriots, Greeks and Turks alike.
