(5th May) Another title for the unstoppable team. They won the 2003-2004 Cyprus Championship. the 8th in total since 1994. They had an easy game against Achilleas Kaimakliou in Strovolos. THE PHOTOS BELOW WERE

(5th March)
Another title for the unstoppable team. They won the
2003-2004 Cyprus Cup, their sixth consecutive cup. They had a
stress free night as they dominated the game from the beginning against
ETHA, Engomis. They won the game 82-48. All ten girls help
the team to reach their second title for this season. Best player

This was the last game of the second round of the championship. The team goes to Kaimakli next week for the first game of the third round. (31st January 04') The third consecutive game against APOEL and the third consecutive win against a good opponent. Keravnos won another game against APOEL by 63 - 52. (21st January 04') The team has qualified to the 2004 Cyprus Cup final with a second win over APOEL. Keravnos won 67-62 in an exciting game were both teams tried their best for the win. Unfortunately, Julia Stylianidou got an injury while trying to make a lay-up in the third quarter. We wish Julia a quick recovery. (19th January 04') Another important win for the team. The won APOEL in Leukotheo for the first leg of the semi-finals for the 2004 Cup, by 62 - 39. Best player and top scorer for Keravnos was Julia Stylianidou with 16 points. The second leg will be on the 21st of January in Strovolos at 6.15pm. Today
the draw for the semi-finals of the 2004 Cup was performed in the offices of the
Cyprus Basketball Federation. Keravnos was
drawn against APOEL (with the first game in Leukotheo Stadium), while AEL is
playing against ETHA. The first games on Sunday 18th of January and the second
leg on Wednesday 21st of January. We wish all the teams participating good luck. |

(11th January 04') For about a month, one valuable player,
Yiota Adamou
does not practice with the team. This was due to the fact that Yiota was away,
somewhere in the Middle East (if we are not mistaken she was in Pakistan) for
humanitarian reasons. We hope that Yiota concluded her important issues and she
will return to the team stronger. The page will continue to update the fans of
Keravnos about Yiota and the rest of the players.

(12th December 03') The first defeat of the team after seven continuous games in the championship. AEL have won the derby in Strovolos by 64 - 66. The team always knew this was going to be a taught game against an important opponent. The game was exciting and the fans enjoyed a derby against two very good teams. Third win in three games for the girls.
They won AEL in Limassol 63 - 48. One of the
most important games of the season is the one the girls have just won. AEL is
always a strong opponent and the team did brilliantly against them. Top scorer
for Keravnos was Pavlina Charalampidou with 20 points. |

Second win for the team in their two first games. They have won their game
against Apollon in Strovolos (109-25). The team
shows to be ready for the big game against the rivals AEL which will take place
next Sunday in Limassol.

(August 03') The club
has appointed
Panayiotis Giannaras as the coach for the season 2003-2004.
Panayiotis, 31, is a talented new coach who previously trained the Junior team
of Keravnos Strovolou (season 1999-2001) and last year was the head coach of
AEL (women' s team). We would like to wish him best of luck. |

Monica Selipa
is back to the team after a two year absent. Monica is one of the few
players that started the team back in 1988. She was also one of the team
captains. In her two years absent she never forgot the team and she
followed it around as a fan. We would like to welcome Monica back and wish
her all the best.
