(13^th February) KERAVNOS Vs APOEL 65 - 68
 

Keravnos was defeated from APOEL, in a very cold night in Strovolos. The team started the game by showing their desire to win APOEL, despite of the numerous problems the team had the past month. The girls played quite good and with good defence the points difference was at some stages up to ten points.

In the second half the team did not start in the same rhythm as the first half and this was the reason the game was lost. With lots of turnovers and the concentration in not very good levels, the girls had one of their worst quarters in the championship. In the last ten minutes the girls tried their best but unfortunately the shoots they attempted were not successful.

We need to congratulate the team even though they lost this battle as they played very good for most of the game. The championship is a long way from over as there are still two rounds of games and the season's play-offs.
