(16th January) KERAVNOS Vs APOEL 68 - 54 (QUALIFIED TO THE FINAL)

THIS TEAM KNOWS HOW TO WIN !!! THEY HAVE PROVEN TO EVERYONE THAT THE "MOTTO" OF THIS TEAM IS WIN, WIN & WIN. TONIGHT, THEY SHOWED THAT THEY ARE THE BEST TEAM IN CYPRUS AND THE 20 TITLES THEY HAVE WON ARE NOT ENOUGH. THEY WANT MORE AND THEY ARE NOT GOING LET ANYONE TELL THEM ANY DIFFERENT. TONIGHT AT STROVOLOS IN FRONT OF THEIR LOYAL FANS THEY PLAYED THEIR BEST GAME OF THE SEASON AND THEY QUALIFIED FOR THE FINAL OF THE CYPRUS CUP.

It was the most important game of the season (so far...) and the girls were ready for it. From the beginning they showed that they would play strong defence, they would play as a team and they would not let the Cup slip from their fingers. In the first half the girls were up for it, but unfortunately offensively they could not score easily. The third quarter was at the same tempo but the girls left their best for last.

In the last ten minutes of the game they have shown to everyone why they call them the best team in Cyprus and why at least 5 players are in the "Cyprus National Team" every year since the early 90's.

They played great basketball but above all they played as a team. Their defence was brilliant and they did not let a rebound for APOEL. They fought together to earn their place in history. Offensively their game was taken from a book. Their passes were dazzling , the lay-ups brilliant and their movement in the court gave APOEL a headache.

We have to congratulate all the members of the team, including the players, the tireless people that follow this team, KERAVNOS board and last but not least the fans.
